Daniel Hägglund
Lewis first saw the surprising imagery of Swedish photographer/ filmmaker Daniel Hägglund pop from the screen through his series “Logging for World Peace” The experimental longboarding images seemed to somehow veer between retro influences and a futuristic vibe. We are stoked to show Daniel’s work in GLASS and explore the influences, process and meaning behind his film and photography.

Jeff Flindt
Aquatic photo artist Jeff Flindt learned his trade in the surfing heartland of Southern California. After becoming a full-time photographer in 1997, Jeff worked his way up with gigs at all the big mags and brands to become one of the most respected surf photographers there is. Now resident in Sweden, Jeff applies his skill to the interesting waves in our own surfing outpost, and we are stoked to curate his North Sea related photography in GLASS.

Lewis Arnold is an award winning photographer and film-maker based in North East England. Alongside a successful career in surf photojournalism , Lewis personal work explores how visual art can be used to communicate ideas beyond surfing and more relevant to the wider world.

Louie Angenendt
Louie Angenendt is an emerging German multi-discipline artist and photographer residing in the Danish surf town of Kiltmoller having begun his surf photography career on the island of Sylt. Louie has developed and elegant documentary approach in his photography and aims to explore how new conceptual work can raise awareness of the environmental issues in the future.

Michal Pelka
Haling from the Netherlands, Michal Pelka is one of the most accomplished surfing related photographers working today. His varied approach often plays with the abtraction and he is rightly renowned for his ability to capture sublime moments of perfection, often in less than perfect conditions.

Mike Guest
“I’m 41 now and I still struggle with that surf or shoot problem. Unless the light is really banging and there is someone really good to shoot I might as well enjoy it and surf and I kind of err on the side of surf these days. Why are we drawn to shoot surfing? I’m not sure.” Mike Guest is a Scottish photographer, filmmaker and dyslexic who is at his happiest when applying his free thinking and talent to in-water image making.

Vilmos Misota
Now resident in Edinburgh, Hungarian photographer Vilmos Misota applies art photography sensibilities to the subject matter of surfing in a creative and often esoteric way. Passionate in his desire to create, Vilmos experiments with film and digital photography to explore and interrogate the impact of surfing on our lives.
